Flashbacks

One challenge in making this film, will be in deciding on how best to illustrate to an audience the concept of a flashback. Flashbacks are one off the defining features of PTSD. Flashbacks are experienced as an involuntary memory, revisiting past, often traumatic experiences. They are extremely visceral. I am interested in trying to create a film in which an audience can experience the intensity of a flashback. I am considering using sequences in which the colours and movements are fierce and severe, and would contrast with quieter, more muted sequences.
